Active Trowbridge Sports Coach (3 positions)

Active Trowbridge are currently seeking 3 Sports Coaches to assist the Leisure Services Senior Team in providing sports and leisure activities inActive Trowbridge ad and around Trowbridge.

The ideal candidate will be confident and highly motivated with the ability to inspire, motivate and encourage young people through sport. You should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of sports coaching, along with previous experience of playing a number of sports. An NGB Level 2 qualification is essential.

In return, Trowbridge Town Council offers a generous pension scheme with an employer’s contribution of 19.7%,  22 days annual leave, plus 2 local days and a wide range of training and development opportunities.

Sports Coaches Needed at Marlborough Youth Centre

Marlborough Youth Centre are looking for sports coaches to come in and deliver a range of sports/activities to young people on a Friday night from1 5pm. It can be weekly/fortnightly/monthly and payment is available.

Primary PE Specialist

Due to the expansion of the PE and Sport programme and following the successful Sports Development undergraduate application of our current PEacorn education trust logo Specialist, Acorn Education Trust is seeking to appoint a PE Specialist to work with the Trust primary schools, starting as soon as possible. This is a superb opportunity to be part of this exciting venture to provide a high quality PE and Sports programme to pupils across the Trust.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Involvement in the planning, marketing, delivery and assessment of a coordinated programme of PE that is progressive and reflective of the needs of pupils;
  • Delivering high quality and enjoyable lessons for the pupils in your charge;
  • Developing good relationships between pupils, parents and staff
  • Assist in the planning and running of Acorn Trust sports festivals and tournaments

Wiltshire Cricket Community Coach

Wiltshire Cricket are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with a passion for children’s sport and cricket to work as part of Wiltshirewiltshire cricket logo Cricket’s community coaching team. The post is a fixed Fixed Term 3 month summer contract, beginning ASAP. 

The successful candidate’s role will include the following areas:

  • Chance to Shine Community Coach; delivering breakfast, lunch time and after school clubs
  • School competition assistant; supporting the delivery of school competitions in both primary and secondary schools this summer
  • All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket holiday camp coach; delivering on our ambitious programme of summer holiday camps aimed at amplifying cricket during this exciting period for the game
