Swindon Race for Life

Cancer Research UK's Race for Life is the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event series which raises millions of pounds every year to help defeat cancer by funding life-saving research into 200 types of cancer.  By taking part in Race for Life events at the beautiful Lydiard Park, you will help Cancer Research UK scientists find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease, helping save more lives.

We have a variety of events available over the weekend of 19 and 20 May:

Saturday 19 May

Pretty Muddy Kids – From 9.45 am

Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends

Pretty Muddy – From 10.30 am

Pretty Muddy® isn’t like any other fundraising event.  It's a muddy obstacle course that women of any ability can climb over, crawl under, and charge through.

Sunday 20 May

5k – 11 am

5k (or just over 3 miles) is an achievable distance for all ages and abilities. You can take part however you like and choose to run, jog or walk your way around the course.10k – 11 am

10k (or just over 6 miles) may sound a little daunting but it is an achievable challenge for anyone with a bit of training.  If you’ve taken on one of our 5k events before then this is a great distance to try and push yourself further.
