Club Matters July Update 2017

Welcome to July’s monthly update on Sport England's Club Matters. Below you will find an overview of our latest updates as well as attachments containing text, which you can copy and paste to use in your own newsletters and social media.club matters july

Helping clubs create meaningful experiences for volunteers

We’ve refreshed the volunteering section of the Club Matters website to help clubs find, keep and develop their volunteers. From here, you can also download new insight and guidance documents. We’re always on the look-out for clubs to showcase on our website, so if you have clubs who have a great way of managing, supporting or recognising their volunteers, we’d love to hear from you!

Keep up-to-date with the latest Club Matters news

In between our monthly updates, you can find out the latest news by checking out the news section of the Club Matters website. Here we share our new content, videos from clubs and updates from the sector. If you have something you’d like featured either here, or on our social media channels, let us know.

Give your clubs a boost with a workshop

Our workshops are a fantastic way to provide support and guidance for a group of your clubs all in one go. All you need to do is choose a date, time, location and get a group of clubs together and we’ll provide the rest – including sending an expert facilitator and materials for the day. To organise a workshop or find out more, click here or get in touch with the team.

Twitter, Facebook and Newsletter content to make your life easier

Attached to this e-mail you will find our usual Newsletter Content, Tweet Sheet and Facebook Posts. These contain pre-written content, which you can copy and paste into your own newsletters and on social media, to make life a little easier! Feel free to continue to promote Club Matters in your own words as well, just remember to tag @ClubMatters in your tweets or @SportEnglandClubMatters in your Facebook posts.

Free promotion for your clubs

We are always keen to hear how your clubs are using Club Matters and the impact on their development. If you have any clubs who would be interested in sharing their success stories then do get in touch at clubmatters@sportengland.org and your clubs could be featured on the Club Matters website. See our latest video with Newbury & Thatcham Hockey Club to give you an idea!

As always, get in touch if you have any queries. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
