Katie’s Story a muddy road to fitness
They said much of it was water, baby etc, but I'm now between 9 and 9.4 which I'm really happy with but it hasn’t been easy.
Juggling is certainly what I seem to do but fitting in the exercise actually helps me keep control of other aspects of a busy life!
I am proud, to have lost 5 stone (My little boy Reuben was 8lb 6) and much of it was baby weight but even so, it was a hard slog and exercise was the key thing for me as I wasn’t about to give up eating well!
So if I wanted to keep eating well and not cutting back too much I had to increase the amount I exercised.
Boot Camp and running are the two things I do for myself.
I couldn’t run to the end of the lane at first and now I have completed a half-marathon and several 10ks.
I find there are certainly ways of having fun whilst exercising, it doesn’t have to be all blood, sweat and tears! I have taken part in competitions I never thought I would and have loved every second!
Exercising with people who are of similar mind set to yourself definitely can encourage you and you can have a laugh too.
